Forever?

This post is going to offend a number of people. It might slap me in my own face in the near future.. But it is hard to keep silent and I really want to let this out.

I have spoken on this topic a few times, and I have tried to alter my approach towards it so as not to sound boring. Literally, those who have been following my blog will know that I touched on this a lot, perhaps a little too much.

Whatever next is only aimed at the world I see and observed and understand.

I don't know if it's just me, but I get the creeps when lovers say to each other: I'll love you forever. I just naik bulu roma. Is it the hypocrisy, that prompted me to react this way? Or is it the fickleness of this powerful statement, and the collateral damage it can cause, that scares me?

On the surface, the sentence sounds fine and all. Everything is fine as long as I love you. We will get through this mess with our love, and our love only. 'This stuff is difficult, but it's real...' - Love Story, Taylor Swift.

Everywhere this mantra rings. It's not just him, it's her as well. They both think that their 'It' is really going to last for ever. And they are both 18. They 'love' each other 'deeply' . Yes, they think they are going to marry and have kids.

Like I said, I am going to offend people. Already there are voices of dissents.

How can forever be so sure? How can forever be in the beg that easily?

For youngsters who are 18 and below, or maybe above that, it is most likely that they say this in the heat of moment. The love is so palpable that it prompts them to say things which outweigh themselves.

I don't know what to say. It seems rather obvious to me, and to themselves later on, when the relationship is let go. Then they go on and say the 'forever' thing to another person. Sheesh.

Cow and donkey, cow and donkey. Ohh...

The Chain

Life continues.

Much reaction to the statement, positive and negative.

Life continues.

Exam is so ever near, with the first wave of mock exams hitting next week. And what's with this feeling of inadequacy? Sure fail?

At least someone's gonna die with me, or fail together.

Bought a book to break the chain of causation, no I mean, monotony. The new cover lifts up the gray clouds, but the plastic covering only serve to remind the looming exams.

Ahh well...

Lame.

Been awhile since I blogged. Don't know why, semangat patah langsung...

Hence this bad piece of poetry to vent out, continuing from the last post...

*

All the beauties and pretties of this world
Have some sort of power to hold
So that anyone who behold
Will be struck out cold.

The entrance of a she
Is always nearly an excrescence.
In the beginning they were we,
In the end only defiance.

At first it was bliss
Coupled with laughs and shrieks.
Midway it turned into a hiss
And everyone evaded the tracks.

Quite easy to start,
Easier to fuck.
When it's all dark,
Both the lame duck.

Why So Serious?

Why so serious?

Why so serious, when nobody is serious? Don't nobody cares about what they do to each other. Don't nobody cares about taking care of their souls! All they care is them!

Why so serious, when life can be used to satisfy? To gratify our wants, to highlight our demands, to make sure we get what we wanted?

Why so serious? Why don't we just go ahead and shout? We don't have to care about rules and regulations, they just fetter us. All we need to do is to fly to somewhere else, where nobody is going to tell us 'NO', or where to go.

Why so serious. Let's put up a smile on that face. *hiak hiak*

Owl

This guy was there to wish me good morning -___-

I woke up this morning to see a new being in my house. And it's an owl!

Look at her face. It's so ancient and wise. Lol. Rumours have it that if she managed to count your eyebrows, you're dead! :D

Not accustomed to the daylight.

Any words of wisedom for us Mother? ;)

Undefined

The calling from within,
Loud, clear, and firm.
The struggle has made the heart thin
Till it's painful, when the memories swim.

Let it be written on paper,
And it will be tonic for the Sad.
Make way for melancholic slumber
And pray it will not drive me mad.

Advancing in the rain is silly,
There is no way to run.
So why not retreat to shelter,
And there It shall lick its wounds.

Perhaps someday, I will make meaning of this all.
With realisation I shall leap over walls.
For now I am contented,
Surveying the rain-created mist,
Waiting for peace.

Everyday Scene

(X is busily hitting the buttons with his eyes glued onto his handphone's screen. Not far away, on the other side of the room, Y is busily socialising with several girls and their laughter can be heard occasionally. X gives a disgruntled look of disapproval there and then.)

(Y comes over to X.)

Y: There you are. What are you doing there, sulking and looking like an overgrown bat? Come have some fun.

X: I am not. It is better for me to stay away from guys who associate closely with girls.

Y: Is that a crime? In fact, I'm just adapting myself. Why, even you are doing that yourself! ( Points at X's handphone.)

X: Oh,no. When you do it in reality it's called flirting. But I'm just chatting. It's quite different; chatting is more decent.

Y: Pui! Who knows what are your contents inside. I bet they're somewhat vulgar. People usually aren't people when they communicate via a screen.

X: (Getting hot.) That might apply to others, but not me. I'm a gentle-guy.

Y: And you're degrading yourself. It's degrading if one often punctuates a girl through her handphone. You'll never know how her face is like on the other line. A ' :) ' could be a ' :( ' .

X: It's not much different in banality. They smile on the outside, but what about the inside? I noticed that they even smiled when you farted just now. And quite a loud and crisp one too.

Y: Ahh. One should be comfortable in all. Come to think of it, they did really smile like flowers upon the sound of the exit of gas.

X: Not to mention entering the nostrils of everyone in the vicinity.

Y: You're disgusting. Look, here comes Z. Gosh, her skirt's really short today! (Body language suggests excitement and anxiety.)

X: (Still not looking away from handphone, typing furiously.) She's forever wearing that. It's getting banal and trite and even boring.

Z: Hi guys. Wassup? Hot day, isn't it?

Y: HI! We're cool. But yes, it sure is hot.

X: The weather's not the only thing that's hot right now.

Z: What?! Are you alluding to something?

Y: (Talked quickly to intercept X.) Oh yes, it's quite obvious. You're looking like the sun today, all hot and blazing and nice. (Z looks pleased and smiled at Y, who is rather flattered.)

X: That's not very polite, Y. Girls don't appreciate being called something round and yellow. It is like being an omelette. (Z looks furious.)

Y: Oh please. That's not funny. You want to be more tactful around girls.

X: You're only tactful when you're tackling. It's rather indecent.

Z: You're forever sick, X. (Covers her nose.) And what's that smell?!

X: (Calmly.) It's nothing. Y has a silencer now. It's him I am sure. But it still is awful. (Moves further.)

Y: (Red-faced.) Hey, it wasn't me! Where you're going Z ?! (Z stalks away.)

X: You should have behaved yourself. Be a gentle-guy before you flirt. Be like me.

Y: Oh, shut up. What nonsense. I'm so down right now.

X: You should feel better. The air stinks so badly now. It indicates your unhealthy diet and bad sleeping habits.

(Y shakes his head, down)

Eighteen Years

One lonely evening I drive
All the while pondering about life.
I chose another way
One longer than the highway.

I sat in the car,
Thinking how love leaves scars.
The engine let out a great roar,
In unison the white birds soar.

As I was there, tapping my fingers,
I saw a couple, and my stare lingers.
They stood side by side
Ignoring time and tide.

She was telling him something,
And though I couldn’t hear a thing,
He was smiling,
As she was confiding.

He beheld her like a toy,
She blushed rose-red, showing her coy.
I felt their joy,
And sourness filled till it cloys.

The sun descended, and basked the couple,
Golden rays enveloped them, mostly the upper.
A wind blew suddenly, and her hair danced accordingly.
He reached out to opportunity, and stroked them neat and tidy.

I pull my eyes away,
The end is my survey.
Such a thing I cannot understand,
For my time is trickling like sand.

I hear a voice within, asking when it shall be me.
It demands an answer, to when will it be.
Yet a solution I cannot offer,
Till then I must suffer.

I stole one last look,
At the happy couple’s book.
I saw her hand he took,
And together they retreated to their nook.

Where they can't tempt us with their lies

A field with green grass, and a playful wind blowing about.

D was looking at the setting. It brought peace to his disturbed temperament, at least for a while. He breathed deeply. He inhaled the molecules into his bones. They assuaged his insides. The burden is lifted temporarily.

D pondered about himself. Why would he be standing here alone? Why is the frolicsome wind sounded like melancholic lamentations to his ears? Ahh... All these are simply part and parcels of life. Yet they tied him down, dragging him like a rock.

She silently joined him. He doesn't noticed her; a gentle nudge enlightened him. He looked at her like a lost boy. She tried to smile back, to efface the ruefulness that is emanating from his eyes. His hand met hers, and they walked towards the shelter of a tree.

Gratification filled the couple. Life has been testing them with many difficulties. In each other, they found solace. She slowly descends to his chest, feeling the rhythmic beating of his heart and its warmth. The sweet scent of her hair consoled him, and he embraced her tenderly.

The atmosphere was blissful, serene, placid; nothing can punctuate the bubble surrounding them. Even the tree stood like a solemn sentinel, guarding both beings with love. The wishing lamp would serve little on this occasion.

Life goes on... ~

Entrance of a she

The life was easy, serene and bliss,
For all we do was listening
To the birds chirp and the snakes hiss,
And nothing else was cunning.

But then she appeared,
Dashing with colour
And painted the life
With every flavour.

Picking up pebbles
Is no longer simple.
For she was there, treading so softly,
Extending her hand, gentle as a dove.

The music we share,
Is no longer laughter.
Goofy and Mickey
Could no longer shelter.
Instead, we feast on rue,
The melancholic piano stool.

We listened till we cry,
For the times we should have try.
Our hearts ache like fire,
Until it couldn't be more tire'.

The addition of a character,
Demolished life's structure.
Love was then a stranger
And we bonded to be Her ranger.

Your entrance into my life
Was stealthily done.
Till now you reside,
And I couldn't have it another way..

From no where she came,
Crowned with fame
Playing the game;

But she ain't your name,
No matter how tame;

Rushing is lame,
Wait till she's a dame
You'll know if she's the same.

How complicated is this world? How complicated it can get?
Everybody is entitled to his/her problems. Friends can only do as much.

Friends are not Streamyx modems. Modems download and upload. And downloading and uploading massive amount of data can be exhausting for a biological brain.

Trying to tap into one's mind can be interesting and fun. It is getting to know someone new. But tapping into more than one person, and different results are obtained.

Different minds are simply different. If indeed memories are as shown in the HP movies, able to be stored in a Pensieve and etc, tapping into other minds at the same time can be disastrous. You might need a new Pensieve. Or may be Prior Incantem?

It is all too complicated. When people gets complicated, they do things. Sometimes scary things. They cry until they've got no tears left. They vent their anger until nothing is standing in front of them. And people get hurt.

Friendship is corrupted. Romance becomes self-centered. All because of sin. The fruits of our desire and lust. Yet how many realised this and how many more are able to mitigate these effects?

There is no emotion; there is peace -__-
