Home

I'm back home!
Rawr rawr rawr!
Lol. Overdoing it.
So I am back home now. Met my family and Fang. The whole place felt warm and friendly, the direct contrast of the feeling you get in downtown Georgetown.
Not much had happened. I am just posting several photos related to the brief stay in Penang.
Enjoy and Merry Chinese New Year =).

Menara UMNO overlooking Lorong Selamat. Evening.

The other side of Lrg Selamat.

This is something interesting and quite alarming. I got a text from Khiashu that somewhere near me, a fire is burning! I got up from lazying and saw the smoke in the distance, not very far from Red Rock Hotel.

We were quite hesitant to go out on the first day, so we watched movies in the theatre =)

Hey hey!

Today is the last day we are staying in Penang!

It has been fun living here and studying as well, but nothing beats going home on Chinese New Year break. We have 24th to 28th as holidays and I can already imagine what kinds of activities we are ALL gonna have. =)

Well then, just can't wait to see ya' all again.

Hi~

I'm glad to see various new posts of friends around Malaysia. As for those who haven't share their bit, please do so as we are earnestly counting on them.

This is the 3rd day of me being in Penang Island and of course, Kemayan ATC. In fact, I just finished English Literature.

So far, there have been several scares but no damage done, and I thank God for that. I use 'scare' because the place where I am currently inhabiting, Lorong Selamat, is far from what it means. In short it ain't selamat(safe) at all. Therefore me and Hua Sheng had been extremely and highly cautious of our surroundings.

On the brighter side, we had literally everything we need here. Except for ATM services, you couldn't complain about any lacking. Food is a luxury here; I had different kinds of meals everyday, and am still itching to go for some. Since our classes are usually in the afternoon, we would have an early dinner with our new friends from ATC.

Entertainments wise, we have yet to find healthy options. However, me and Hua Sheng had a so-so game of DOTA at a large cyber cafe not far from our place, Net City Cyber Cafe. Lol. I am still searching for basketball courts though. If, however we don't feel like going outside, we would content ourselves by lazying on the tilam(mattress) watching Steven Chow movies from Hua Sheng's notebook. All this because we still have not decide on whether to use Broadband or Streamyx.

As for the college, I am fairly satisfied with what they dished out to us. I mean, at least I don't have to wrestle with Maths anymore! What's best is finding people who share the same feeling. We all felt that 2 years of Add Maths is reasonably, totally enough, so we sorta clicked together =). However, the number of girls here is rather low and I still haven't been able to know them yet. That is still unpredictable though. Ha ha... The lessons are interesting and they suited me quite well.

Life here is simple and peaceful. I can say that I am contented to be here. I hope that that's the case with you guys too.

On a final note, I wish everyone an early Happy Chinese New Year. I am looking forward to meeting you'sa all then =)...

P/S: Ee Shiuen dyed his hair light brown. Any comments? +_+

Outing

We welcome Yee Yee for joining the list of contributors for this blog. Hehe.

Tomorrow, me, Ee Shiuen, Hua Sheng, Dorothy and YeeYee are going to Gurney for an outing. The programmes are just like any ordinary outings: Golden Screen Cinema+popcorn, walking aimlessly, eating and chatting. Except for Shiuen and Hua Sheng, the other 3 of us are just simply too bored of staying at home and staring at the computer. I was rather surprised that the 2 girls agreed too, in the first place. =)

It's been a while since anyone posted anything here. Are they too busy, or still haven't obtained Internet access? Only a handful of the long list of people that I invited to be this blog's contributors had responded. Hopefully, after settling down and getting Internet access, friends would contribute more writings and helped to keep in touch even we're not together.

Shalom~
