Sex and Me

Sorry for the bombastic title. ^^

It is just that I had a very interesting conversation with a male friend, and that provided some insight to me.

Our conversation:

X: I wanna know what true love is. So I will love before I die; I am not like you.

Me: Fine then. But wassup with true love thingy? Why must you find it?

X: Hey everyone finds one nowadays ok? I myself longed for that kind of feeling too. You know, bringing your sweetheart for a movie, a walk at the beach, then you hold her hand, hug her, love her...

Me: Spare me the details. So this is it eh? The reason for true love?

X: Don't get me wrong, mister. True love to me is not about sex. I have dreamt of these things...

Me: Wow. You must have got all sexually aroused then.

X: Yea. It happened the other day.

Me: Really? Pancut tak?

So that was our conversation, more or less. I left thinking about sex and her influence in our lives.

As guys and girls started to mature, our bodies grow, developing the unique biological characteristics God designed. Our hormones then started to kick in too. We begin feeling curious towards the opposite sex.

Those hormones are actually the culprit of our sexual desire. And it is up to us to control them. Watching pornography and doing stuff that aroused them is certainly not something wise.

From our conversation, I observed that youngsters nowadays tend to use the wrong way to assuage the lascivious passion within. Like my friend, he was upset that his 'bro' erected when he was going to nap and he went straight to 'release' the pressure.

C'mon y'all. Take a deep breath. I know these thoughts are hard to handle; I battle everyday with them too. There is no winner-takes-all situation with these little devils. It is ongoing, relentless, and you have to keep fighting it.
