Realize

Recently, I like to write by typing out the words that I want to express.
What can we do to change something we cannot make any change on it?==
Like a child ignoring his parents’ advices, doing what he/she is willing to do.
Like a moth trying to get closer to the fire, even it knows that it may get hurt.
Like a girl falling in love with a guy and tried her best to bring the best to the guy.
She would like to continue falling in love and still putting effort on it despite the advices from her best friends. What do their friends think and feel? What can they do to change it, change the girl’s thought?
Such of these things we cannot make any change on it.
You are always not able to force the child to study or do the things those are healthy and educational.
You are always not able to change the moth’s nature but to cover the light or fire up.
You are always not able to change the girl’s thought as well.
I learned something from a sermon that was given by an experienced pastor in Parit Buntar.
He stated that there are always two approaches for a human being to know or realize something.
In the beginning, the Lord God set Adam in a garden- Eden and commanded Adam, “You may freely eat of every tree of garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die.”
The purpose of the Lord is to test whether our bodies belong to good or evil. Adam always has two choices to get the knowledge of good and evil.
1- Obey the command from the Lord.
2- Disobey the command and eat the knowledge of good and evil’s fruit
Both can help him to get the knowledge of good and evil’s ability.
Maybe it is quite complicated. Let’s look at an example.
In a house, there are a mother and a child. A kettle was heated strongly and the water inside was boiling. (high temperature) It may hurt the naive child if he touched it. Loving and caring mother has told the child that the hot kettle may hurt him, and commanded the child not to touch. There are two ways for the child to get knowledge.
1- He obeys his mother’s command.
2- He disobeys his mother’s command and touch the kettle. After getting hurt, he just realized that the kettle is hot and harmful if he touches.
Don’t worry. Someone may realize their naivety eventually. Just pray for them. ^^
