When I was waiting eagerly for CNY 2009, I expected a lot. I say eagerly because friends from faraway places will be home and we can all see each other again. I expected to listen to different tales about places and people. And I got what I wished. We had a few gatherings and talked about stuff. Some of the gatherings, in my opinion, are hampered by multi player games like Counter Strike and Dota, but we shared fair-enough time together as a whole.
Through our conversation, it is fact that all of us have gone on our own way. Going to places to work or study, it really changes one's perception of things and people. I find it quite hard to go along with them in the beginning, but hey, these are all my old buddies, and the conversation went on much smoother after we exchanged tales.
The atmosphere of this year's CNY is rather dull and quiet, maybe because of the hot weather. Everyone just want to sit indoors, away from the sun rays that scorch. In addition to that there is the schedule of everybody to comprehend if gatherings are to be arranged. Since we have literally everybody to consider it is hence impossible to include the entire community. There are friends I wished to talk to, there are friends who I wanted to have a good time together, but we just couldn't work out our time.
CNY is as good as finished now. Looks like my 'Merry CNY campaign' isn't working : \
